Hospice Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) 7am-7pm (3x12's)

Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional conditions regularly, adjusting care plans to ensure optimal comfort and symptom management. Administer medications and treatments per hospice protocols and physician orders, prioritizing pain relief and quality of life. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and chaplains, to develop individualized care plans addressing holistic needs. Provide education and emotional support to patients and families, facilitating understanding of the hospice process. Document all nursing interventions and communications accurately in compliance with regulatory standards. Respond promptly to changes in patient status and coordinate with medical staff for urgent needs. Maintain a safe, clean environment while working three 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm, including every third weekend.
