Job Summary
Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support for patients in their homes. Observe and report changes in patients' condition to the supervising nurse or therapist, then document care provided and observations accurately. Follow the care plan established by the Registered Nurse while maintaining a safe environment. Maintain current CPR certification and hold a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. Work Monday through Friday at an hourly rate of $25.00 in the Boston area.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read and follow written care plans and document services provided
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Current CPR certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Ability to assist patients with repositioning, transferring, and other physical tasks
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Massachusetts preferred
- Home Health Aide certification accepted
- Compassion and empathy for individuals who are ill, injured, or elderly
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and professionalism
