Job Summary
Conduct physical and psychosocial assessments and electronically document visit occurrences for MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care patients in both community and facility settings. Develop and implement nursing plans of care while making recommendations based on patient needs. Work one weekend per month and function in a backup on-call capacity two to three times monthly, with car and escort service available for shifts. Requires an RN license and driver's license, with a BSN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- NYS RN license
- NYS Driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Associates/Diploma from an accredited school of Nursing
- BSN
- 2+ years' experience in a med/surg, community health, and/or oncology nursing setting
