Job Summary
Conduct initial physical and psychosocial assessments of potential hospice patients in private homes, hospitals, or nursing facilities to develop individualized care plans, goals, and recommendations. Admit eligible patients onto the Hospice program following National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization standards. Requires NYS RN license, NYS driver's license, and 2+ years of experience in med/surg, community health, or oncology. Offers $15,000 sign-on bonus or student loan assistance, plus free RN to BSN and MSN degree programs. At MJHS, we deliver patient-centered, equitable care with compassion and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Associates/Diploma from an accredited school of Nursing
- NYS RN license
- NYS Driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- 2+ years' experience in a med/surg, community health, and/or oncology nursing setting
