Hospice Director of Nursing

Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel while maintaining quality of care in accordance with agency objectives and policies. Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff to ensure service standards, perform chart audits, and gather data for QAPI activities. Identify and evaluate patient needs by reviewing initial intake screening forms before assigning direct care staff, and see patients in the home setting as needed. Maintain adequate medical supplies and ensure Medicare, State, and CHAP regulations are followed by all clinical staff. Assist with orientation of new staff and provide annual performance appraisings and in-services for current personnel.
