Job Summary
Hospice Director of Clinical Services (Registered Nurse/RN) leads patient and family care per the plan of care, oversees the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) including scheduling and mentoring, and coordinates the consultative process between the Medical Director and IDT. Responsible for ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations, leading IDT meetings, and processing EMR documentation workflow as needed. Requirements include an RN license with a minimum of three years in healthcare; leadership/management experience is strongly preferred; Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred (BSN a plus); Hospice and Palliative Nursing certification is a plus but not required; valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- minimum of three years in healthcare
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- BSN a plus
- Experience in leadership or management
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems a strong plus
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of employment
- Certifications in Hospice and Palliative Nursing a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance
