Job Summary
Oversee hospice care delivery to patients and families while ensuring compliance with home health and hospice regulations. Manage hospice staff levels, recruit, hire, orient, and train caregivers, and assist in budget and financial report preparation. Evaluate patient care quality, maintain medical supply and medication inventory, and build meaningful relationships with patients and families. Requires an active RN or BSN license in Wisconsin, two years of hospice nursing case management experience, and extensive knowledge of state/federal laws. Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 with quarterly performance bonuses, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits including PTO, medical insurance, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN or BSN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum of 2 years of hospice nursing case management
- At least 1 year of hospice or home health experience managing caregivers
- CPR certification
- Extensive knowledge of state/federal home health and hospice laws and regulatory standards
- Excellent management skills
