Job Summary
Conduct personal care tasks including changing bedding, bathing patients, and managing hygienic routines such as brushing teeth and wound dressings. Assist family members in performing basic health-care routines for terminally ill relatives and consult with supervising registered nurses regarding patient progression and family needs. Maintain a valid driver's license, operate a mobile device, and complete required CPR certification and competency evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet one of the following requirements: 1) have a minimum of one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility); 2) have one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting
- Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment
- Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device
- Must possess a valid state driver license
- Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
- Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
- Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
- Must complete training, competency evaluation in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Must possess CPR certification

- May demonstrate an active willingness to learn the required skills in lieu of existing technology skills
