Job Summary
Provide personal care services to assigned patients in accordance with nursing assessments and care plans, including assisting with daily mouth care, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and ambulation. Perform post-mortem care, change bed linens, and monitor intake/output records, bowel movements, and skin integrity. Document tasks performed and communicate with family or facility staff to ensure adequate nursing services. Report injuries, pressure areas, and grievances to supervisors while maintaining a calm environment. Follow work schedules and policies under nurse supervision to support the mission of human dignity for those with terminal or chronic illnesses.
