Job Summary
Hospice CNA Care Center at Empath Health – PRN. Provide end-of-life care at Hospice House in Ocala and Summerfield. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, baths, oral hygiene, linen changes, and contributing to housekeeping and kitchen tasks. Shift pattern comprises 12-hour shifts with a minimum of four shifts per month. Requires Florida CNA license and (if driving) valid driver’s license, with flexibility to work at alternate facilities as needed. Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA license)
- 1-3 years of training/experience in healthcare; long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and flexible with facility reassignment as needed
- Valid Florida Driver’s License (required if driving during reassignment)
- Experience in maintaining patient hygiene, assisting with feeding, bathing, and daily living activities
