Job Summary
Administer prescribed treatments and pain management medications while informing physicians of changes in patient conditions. Maintain and update medical charts, patient files, and health records with accurate clinical reporting. Complete the Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills Test to meet state requirements. Hold a current driver's license and reliable transportation with valid auto liability insurance. Requires at least one year of experience as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant, or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
Required Qualifications
- Must have current driver's license
- Must be able to read, write, and verbally report clinical information to patients, representatives and caregivers, as well as to other Agency staff
- Successful completion of the Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist that meets §418.76© and the written Skills Test
- Reliable transportation
- Valid and current auto liability insurance
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma Preferred
- At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide Program
