Job Summary
Hospice Clinical Director to oversee hospice clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor nursing and clinical staff, develop and evaluate policies and procedures, collaborate with medical directors and health care teams, conduct clinical audits, provide ongoing staff education, liaise with regulators and families, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting of care. Focus on maintaining high-quality patient care, infection control, staffing planning, and adherence to Medicare/Medicaid/hospice standards in a home-health care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in Nursing, or related field
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where work is performed
- Minimum of 2 years of Hospice RN Experience, or a Minimum of 3 Years in Clinical Leadership
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and hospice standards
- Strong clinical skills and compassion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to build rapport with patients through a compassionate demeanor
