Job Summary
Coordinate all activities of the spiritual services program and deliver spiritual support to patients and families, including assistance with the bereavement program. Provide pastoral care consistent with personal belief systems and Enhabit policies. Maintain a valid driver's license, automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation for all types of weather conditions. Requires ordination or ecclesiastical endorsement for pastoral capacity, along with experience working with patients facing life-threatening illness and death.
Required Qualifications
- Ordination or ecclesiastical endorsement from the individual's denomination approved to function in a pastoral capacity
- Demonstrated experience in working with patients and families dealing with life-threatening illness and death
- Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device
- Training in clinical pastoral education, meeting the requirements for the college of chaplains
- One unit CPE (clinical pastoral education) from a nationally recognized provider (Georgia specific)
- One year experience in a clinical or healthcare setting (Illinois specific)
- One unit CPE (clinical pastoral education) from the college of chaplains (Missouri specific)
- Valid state driver license
- Automobile liability insurance as required by law
- Dependable transportation in good working condition
- Ability to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Education and experience (general preferred)
- Training in clinical pastoral education, meeting the requirements for the college of chaplains (in lieu of ordation or endorsement)
