Hospice Chaplain

Experienced hospice chaplain sought to provide spiritual and pastoral counseling to patients, families, and staff within Puget Sound Home Health and Hospice. Responsibilities include communicating plans with the interdisciplinary team, coordinating religious services aligned with patient religious needs, leading and coordinating an interdisciplinary team for holistic end-of-life care, ensuring bereavement/spiritual assessment and services, providing bereavement support to hospice personnel, planning and evaluating Bereavement Program development, participating in quality improvement teams, counseling patients and family caregivers, and coordinating bereavement and volunteer services with hospice staff. Requires BD/MDiv or equivalent theological degree, strong communication and organizational skills, healthcare/hospice experience, grief counseling experience, and a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle. Location: Thurston, Grays Harbor, and Mason County, WA; multiple listed sites in Washington state.
