Job Summary
Seeking a Hospice Chaplain Bereavement Counselor to provide spiritual care services to hospice patients and families. Requires theological degree, experience in grief counseling, and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv, or equivalent theological degree)
- Current and valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance coverage
- Experience working with death and dying, individuals, families, and caregivers
- Experience and/or education in grief or loss counseling
- Ability to work as a member of Hospice Interdisciplinary Team
- Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of care
Desired Qualifications
- Hospice experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Home Care Home Base (HCHB)
