Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice Aide

Job Summary
Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients, including assistance with hygiene, grooming, toileting, safe mobility, and meal preparation. Observe and report changes in patient conditions while offering emotional support to patients and families. Maintain accurate visit documentation and attend team meetings for quality improvement activities. Practice strict infection control and safety protocols throughout all care settings. This role requires an active CNA license, CPR certification, and a driver's license, with a preference for home health or hospice experience. Full-time associates receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus tuition assistance and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA license in the state of employment
- Current CPR certification
- Driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance
- Six (6) months of direct patient care experience
- Comfortable working in home settings, hospice facilities, or long-term care environments
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and ability to handle emotional situations
- Willingness to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs
- This is a safety-sensitive position

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in home health, hospice, palliative care, or oncology
- Prior roles in hospital nursing, ICU, geriatrics, med-surg, ER, telemetry, or nursing homes
- Exposure to end-of-life care, wound care, or admissions support
