Job Summary
Hospice Care Consultant responsible for growing Compassus' market share within a defined Book of Business by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, identifying eligible patients, and ensuring rapid, appropriate admissions. Targets include opening new accounts and expanding existing ones to meet weekly performance goals, while applying a compassionate, patient-focused approach and navigating emotional conversations with patients and families. The role requires flexibility to work outside standard hours (including evenings and weekends), strong relationship management with referral sources, and the ability to train referral partners on hospice care concepts. The position emphasizes growth in admissions and market share through consultative sales, adaptability to change, and a commitment to delivering high-quality hospice care across partner networks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business strongly preferred
- Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles
- Proven track record of meeting / exceeding sales goals
- Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred
