Hospice Care Consultant

Job Summary
Hospice Care Consultant drives growth within the defined book of business by opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts, securing referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators, and partnering with operations to ensure rapid, appropriate admissions. The role requires a consultative sales approach, strong relationships with referral sources, empathy for patients and families, and the ability to work outside standard business hours to support timely patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining the Compassus Pillars of Success and a focus on delivering high-quality hospice care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Five (5) plus years of successful sales experience in relevant roles
- Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare industry preferred
- Proven track record of meeting / exceeding sales goals
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
