Hospice Branch Director

Job Summary
Oversee financial performance of branches by implementing effective budgeting and accounting systems while ensuring adequate staffing levels and compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement regulations. Supervise utilization review activities, identify payment/coverage problems, and participate in strategic account development through weekly, monthly, and quarterly review meetings. Investigate complaints and problems to ensure resolution and report results to the Area Vice President. Maintain availability by phone as directed and participate in on-call rotations as scheduled. Develop proposals for program and service changes for consideration by supervisors. Requires 5+ years of hospice experience, an RN license preferred, and proficiency with MS Office and Homecare HomeBase. Reports to the Area Vice President.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years Hospice experience
- Previous leadership/management experience within a Home Health/Hospice environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations, financials, and work within a matrixed environment
Desired Qualifications
- RN license in state of operations that is current and unrestricted preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Previous experience with Homecare HomeBase is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field is preferred
