Job Summary
Provide comprehensive inpatient palliative care consultations for adult patients and supervise a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. Evaluate 2-3 new consultations daily and conduct follow-up assessments on 2-3 existing patients. Complete documentation using the Cerner EMR system while maintaining Board Certification and Fellowship training in Palliative Care with recent experience within the past 12 months. Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with no call obligations or holiday requirements. This role supports the established palliative care program at a 329-bed hospital in Northern Georgia.
