Job Summary
Evaluate 2-3 new palliative care consultations and conduct follow-up assessments on 2-3 existing adult patients daily. Supervise a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner and complete all documentation using the Cerner EMR system. Provide comprehensive inpatient palliative care consultations at this 329-bed facility in Northern Georgia, which offers diverse regional attractions including Amicalola Falls State Park and Six Flags Over Georgia. Coverage runs Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with no call obligations or holiday requirements. Credentialing requires 60-90 days, and candidates must hold Board Certification and Fellowship training in Palliative Care with recent experience within the past 12 months.
