Job Summary
Hospice and In-Home Palliative Care Physician sought in Gainesville, GA. Join a physician-led, NGHS-affiliated team providing hospice care and in-home palliative services with an emphasis on collaboration, compassion, and end-of-life patient care. Responsibilities include oversight and collaboration with nursing and interdisciplinary staff, providing care across inpatient hospice units, home hospice, and outpatient palliative settings, and leading goals-of-care discussions, symptom management, and quality-focused care planning. Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine with an active or easily obtainable Georgia license; experience across care settings and strong communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (HPM)
- Active Georgia license or ability to obtain unrestricted license
- Experience providing care across settings including inpatient consults, hospice inpatient units, home hospice, and outpatient palliative care
- Hospice & Palliative Medicine certification acceptable if maintained per governing board requirements
