Job Summary
Hospice Aide role supporting home-based care for patients, providing comfort care to patients at home as part of the hospice team, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs to preserve quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care to enable patients to remain at home with loved ones, and collaborating to meet each patient’s unique needs. Requires or favors Certified Nursing Assistant licensure or equivalent training and CPR certification; employment location is Youngstown, OH with in-person home visits. Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- In states where licensure is not required (AL, CT, GA, IA, IL, KS, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV), applicants must meet one of the following: They are already a licensed/certified aide; or They have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months
