Job Summary
Provide personal care including baths, oral hygiene, and meal assistance while monitoring vital signs and recording data. Assist with ambulation, exercise, and range of motion as instructed by nursing staff. Maintain patient safety through proper equipment use and skin observation to prevent tissue breakdown. Communicate patient conditions and changes promptly to the supervisory nurse. Adhere to state licensure requirements and agency documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements of the State and has successfully completed a state established or other training program that meets the State's requirements of a competency evaluation program, or state licensure program
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance in your name as a driver
- Capable of all physical demands
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience, preferably in Hospice care
