Job Summary
Perform personal care tasks including baths, oral hygiene, and dressing patients as assigned while maintaining safety and equipment standards. Provide meals, assist with ambulation and exercise, and monitor skin to prevent tissue breakdown. Report significant patient condition changes to the supervisory nurse and keep living areas clean and orderly. Offer respite to family caregivers when on-site and assist with light laundry and bedpan needs. Maintain a valid driver's license and current CPR certification for required home visits. Adhere to documentation procedures and professional conduct standards.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a state established or other training program that meets the requirements of S 484.36(a) and a competency evaluation program, or state licensure program that meets the requirements of S 484.36(b), or a competency evaluation program or state licensure program that meets the requirements of 42 CFR § 484.36(b)
- Good verbal and written communication and problem solving skills
- Responsible valid driver's license
- reliable, insured, automobile
- Current CPR
