Job Summary
The Hospice Aide is responsible for providing personal care including bathing, grooming, feeding, and dressing patients under the supervision of a nurse. Key responsibilities include ensuring patient dignity and comfort, maintaining a clean and safe environment, monitoring changes in patient conditions, assisting with dietary needs, and adhering to hospice care protocols. The role requires emotional support capabilities and a commitment to Infection Control procedures. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year direct patient care experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year direct patient care or related experience
- Current Tennessee CNT Certificate
- Current and valid Tennessee driver's license and automobile insurance
