Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as a Hospice Aide (CNA) in patients' residences under RN supervision. Assist with safe transfers and ambulation, maintain a safe and clean environment, report changes and document care rendered, follow infection control principles, support privacy and dignity, assist with nutrition and fluid intake, participate in on-call/after-hours coverage, and meet productivity standards. Requires reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance; may involve weekend/holiday rotations and coordination with the Hospice team to ensure continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Hospice Aide experience preferred
- CNA license/certification required
- ability to provide direct patient care
- reliable transportation for home visits
