Hospice Aide CNA

Job Summary
Provide hands-on care to patients receiving end-of-life services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Perform personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and linen changes. Assist with ambulation, positioning, range-of-motion exercises, and comfort measures while observing patient conditions and documenting care accurately. Take and record vital signs when ordered and within competency, using medical equipment safely to maintain a clean, comfortable home environment. Offer respite support for patients, families, and caregivers as needed. This full-time position in Pahrump requires an Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Hospice Aide certification in Nevada, current CPR certification, and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Hospice Aide certification in the State of Nevada
- Current CPR certification
- Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort with end-of-life care
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Empathy, patience, and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
