Job Summary
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals in hospice, including daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating), emotional support, and companionship; collaborate with families and the healthcare team; facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities; follow infection-control protocols; travel between multiple locations within the region to deliver consistent hospice care.
Required Qualifications
- Active CPR certification, required
- Current driver's license and automobile liability insurance
- Ability to travel between multiple locations within your region
- Experience as Hospice Aide, Home Health Aide, and/or Certified Nursing Assistant in last 24 months (preferred)
- Hospice or palliative care experience (preferred)
- Ability to obtain Hospice Nursing Assistant Certification (CHPN) within 24 months of employment
