Hospice Aide

Job Summary
Support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating for patients in homes, long-term care communities, assisted living residences, or hospitals. Deliver emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive environment, and interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team. Encourage recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines, adhering strictly to infection control protocols. Maintain an active CPR certification and hold a current driver's license with liability insurance to travel between multiple locations. Obtain Hospice Nursing Assistant Certification through CHPN within 24 months of employment. Required Qualifications
- Active CPR certification
- Current driver's license
- Automobile liability insurance
- The ability to travel between multiple locations within your region
- Ability to obtain Hospice Nursing Assistant Certification (through CHPN) within 24 months of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a Hospice Aide, Home Health Aide, and/or Certified Nursing Assistant during the previous 24 months
- Hospice or palliative care experience
