Job Summary
Support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating while delivering emotional support and companionship. Interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team, and encourage recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health routines. Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment. Maintain an active CPR certification, hold a current driver's license with liability insurance, and be able to travel between multiple locations within your region. Obtain Hospice Nursing Assistant Certification through CHPN within 24 months of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Active CPR certification
- Current driver's license
- Automobile liability insurance
- The ability to travel between multiple locations within your region
- Ability to obtain Hospice Nursing Assistant Certification (through CHPN) within 24 months of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a Hospice Aide, Home Health Aide, and/or Certified Nursing Assistant during the previous 24 months
- Hospice or palliative care experience
