Job Summary
Administrative Assistant for Lifesong Hospice in the Allentown office; full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm on-site. Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering telephones and relaying messages; establishing new patient records in the EMR and updating information; maintaining the office and clinical supply room; tracking daily census and team census; assisting Clinical Manager and hospice team with patient records, audits, reports, and data gathering; maintaining visit schedules and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent; Associates degree (or higher) preferred
- Recent experience with electronic and paper medical records system; home care/hospice agency preferred
- Excellence in written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of computer usage and Microsoft Office programs
