Job Summary
Conduct complete hose assembly by studying instructions, gathering parts, and fastening components while maintaining safe, clean work environments. Prepare work by selecting proper tools, examining connections, and documenting actions on production forms. Coil hoses for delivery and manage inventory control via the ERP system. Provide customer support for fast turnarounds and perform assigned proprietary duties. Commit to additional hours as needed to meet daily order deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Good reading and writing skills
- Solid computer skills such as typing and navigation through various computer programs including MS Outlook, Excel, and Windows
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate and patient customer service skills
- High attention to detail
- Active listening skills
- Commitment to work additional hours as needed to complete orders received daily
- Energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude
- Good organization skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting 100% daily (subject to change daily)
- Assist in lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 70 lbs.; receiving unloads up to 100%; order pulling up to 100%
- Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumes
- Team-player
- Ability to prioritize and manage time
- High School diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience
- Prior hose assembly experience
- Forklift experience (preferred but not required)
- Additional power equipment experience (preferred but not required)
