Job Summary
Hose Support Operator in the Hose Assembly department responsible for moving 300–400-pound garden hose reels, positioning reels onto stands, threading hose to cutter machines, and visually inspecting for defects. Requires reading and recording production data on batch cards, basic arithmetic for production counts, and the ability to stand for long periods and perform bending/twisting motions. The role emphasizes self-directed task completion, safety compliance, and reliable attendance. Required Qualifications
- Read, interpret, and loop up scheduled product on batch cards; record production information; take basic hose measurements
- Basic math skills for accurate counting to match production records
- Ability to stand for long periods; ability to squat, bend, twist and turn as needed
- Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly
- Excellent attendance; strong work history; safety compliance (PPE, safety glasses, ear protection, steel-toed shoes)
