Hose Installation Technician

PIRTEK is hiring a Hydraulic Hose Service & Sales Technician to service, assemble, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses in the Cedar Rapids area using a purpose-built mobile service unit. Responsibilities include carrying out service calls and sales visits, identifying faulty hoses and hose assemblies, fabricating and installing replacements, ensuring spills and environmental contaminants are contained, inputting service details for accurate invoices, developing relationships with customers, maintaining the mobile service unit, and participating in the rotating on-call schedule with incentive pay. Skills and attributes include mechanical aptitude, strong communication, problem-solving, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. On-the-job training is provided, along with ongoing support and a company vehicle, benefits, and paid time off.
