Job Summary
Assemble hose assemblies per customer requirements according to approved drawings, BOMs, and specifications, with emphasis on hose kits and related components. Prioritize build schedules based on production timelines, communicate improvement ideas or issues to management, and record completions, errors, and downtime. Perform problem solving by comparing orders to BOMs and prints, and adhere to data-entry and software requirements (Microsoft Office, Outlook; Prophet21 preferred). Requires high attention to detail, the ability to handle up to 50 pounds, and strong mathematical and communication skills. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, Vandalia, OH.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- Three to five years of related work experience
- Strong interpersonal and telephone skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors and other Triad employees
- Reads and follows written work instructions
- Strong mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units)
- Reads drawings and BOMs
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to handle products (inventory) up to 50 pounds
- Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge; Prophet21 knowledge preferred
- Mechanical aptitude test score 70%+
