Job Summary
Assembler in the Hose Assembly department (2nd Shift) at Teknor Apex in Fountain Inn, SC, you will assemble hoses with fittings using an expansion machine, verify materials per batch cards, label hoses, and maintain quality and productivity. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety and lean manufacturing standards, ability to train others, and accurate daily production records, with opportunities for overtime, shift differential, and company benefits. Must be able to read and write and work in a self-directed, manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing or Assembly experience a plus
- Ability to recognize quality problems
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned
- Ability to demonstrate operational decision as required, maintaining production levels
- Ability to read and write
