Job Summary
Operate powered equipment for mowing and maintaining golf course and clubhouse landscape operations. Water, fertilize, and apply pesticides to flowerbeds and shrubbery, then trim trees, prune shrubbery, and cultivate plants to enhance aesthetic appeal and health. Plant and maintain woody plant materials and flowerbeds across clubhouse, golf course, and commons areas. Calibrate spraying equipment for accurate application of fertilizers and treatments. Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management, attend daily briefings, and resolve challenges using available resources while adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance, greenhouse management, or groundskeeping
- Primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity
- Sitting, standing, walking, climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs., talking, hearing, and seeing
- Attendance requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule
- Additional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays
