Horticulturist

Coordinate and supervise daily parks maintenance activities for City grounds, coordinating with Parks Foreman and crew leaders; lead a crew, oversee weather-related operations, assist with park improvements and budgeting, design and maintain public garden spaces, manage plant material and greenhouse propagation, perform invasive species management, tree care, landscape tasks, and support community programs; requires safety compliance, ability to supervise seasonal employees, and occasional trainings, with responsibilities including budgeting, equipment upkeep, and coordination with multiple departments.
