Horticultural Assistant - Flower Maintenance (Full Time)

Job Summary
Assist the Horticulturalist and team members with flower installations and maintenance for seasonal color flower beds and decorative containers. Responsibilities include monitoring moisture levels, grooming flower beds, identifying plants, applying fertilizers, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should possess a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and be detail-oriented. Experience with plant identification and landscape maintenance is preferred, and a valid Georgia Driver’s License is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent credentials
- Must be trainable in knowledge of plant identification, annuals, perennials, small trees and shrubs
- Must be trainable in proper planting and flower maintenance techniques, flower beds, gardens and in proper plant selection and bed layout
- Must be trainable in color combinations and proper plant selection for container compositions and design
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License (Required)
- Must have a favorable driving history
- Must be 21 years of age or older to drive a company vehicle
