Horizontal Directional Drill Locator

Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively for the installation of natural gas pipelines, performing other duties as required to support the crew. Maintain technical thinking and the ability to read standards and schematics while working in outside weather conditions, including wet, humid, cold, heat, and humidity. Expect exposure to loud noise, slow- or fast-moving traffic, and uneven surfaces requiring continuous standing, walking, turning, stooping, kneeling, crouching, speaking, and hearing. Must be willing to work overtime as dictated by workload volumes. Lift and move 50 pounds. Requires 3 plus years of operating, excavation equipment experience in the utility industry, with previous Horizontal Direction Drill experience and backhoe or mini excavator experience preferred.
