Job Summary
Perform personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and meal preparation. Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments while performing light housekeeping tasks. Provide dementia-specific care, incontinence management, medication reminders, and prescribed range of motion exercises for bed-bound patients. This role supports Right at Home's mission to help people stay in the comfort of their homes through clinical expertise delivered in-home.
Required Qualifications
- Dementia Experience
- Must be able to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Must be able to perform light housekeeping activities
- Must be able to perform patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home staff
- Must be able to perform incontinence care
- Must be able to provide medication reminders
- Must be able to assist with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Must be able to care of bed-bound patients
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer's or Dementia
- Experience in Personal care
- Experience in Light cleaning
