Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials while pulling and filling orders. Notify the Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention, then locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary. Follow up on back-ordered parts and verify will-call and back-order files weekly. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders and ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders. Maintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts. Assist the Parts Manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
