Job Summary
Provide Assistance with Daily Living (ADL), Companionship, and Respite care as directed by the Client Care Plan. Assist clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, and toileting while performing light housekeeping and meal preparation. Support skin care, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises per the care plan, and assist with walking, transferring, and transportation to appointments. Record vital signs and intake/output, respond rapidly to emergency situations, and follow infection control precautions. This role requires a High School diploma, current Washington State Home Care Aid certification, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Minimum one year of caregiving experience is needed. Located in Bellevue, Washington, covering the Eastside, Cascades, and Seattle areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Washington State Home Care Aid (HCA) certification
- Current CPR certification
- Current physical and/or negative TB test, if applicable
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
- Minimum of one year of documented caregiving experience
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively with clients, families and staff
- Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal direct supervision
- Genuine empathy for clients
- Willing to travel locally/regionally to client homes
