Job Summary
Plan and teach middle and high school courses, preparing instructional content for four days of at-home coursework and Tuesdays and Thursdays of in-person learning. Deliver developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned instruction using school-approved curriculum while integrating biblical truth and worldview into all subject areas. Assess student learning, adjust instruction to support growth, and monitor progress by maintaining lesson plans, assignments, and grades in RenWeb. Create a nurturing environment that fosters academic, social, and spiritual development through weekly communication with students and families. Participate in faculty meetings, devotions, and professional development during the 36-week school year from mid-August to early June.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Math or related field
- Experience in a homeschool or hybrid program
- Proficiency in various software packages including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communications skills and professional demeanor
- Adaptive collaborative team player
- Must pass a Washington State Patrol and national background check
- Ability to sit, stand, and move around the classroom and school campus throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Washington State teaching certificate preferred
