Job Summary
Conduct daily care for seniors and adults with disabilities, including medication reminders, companionship activities like reading and puzzles, and household chores such as light housekeeping and laundry. Prepare meals for clients and assist with personal care needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment while ensuring clients feel supported and engaged. This role requires a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a CNA or HHA license preferred. Flexible scheduling is available, and the team offers training and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- ability to complete a written Competency Evaluation
- valid driver's license
- current automobile insurance
- high school diploma or GED
- ability to pass a full employment background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- CNA or HHA license
- 6 months of experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare
- 1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities)
