Job Summary
Conduct home visits to complete home study reports and certify foster homes, while running recruitment events and providing MAAP training to prospective parents. Maintain safe ratios by filling in for Youth Care Workers and provide 24/7 support rotation for foster families. Document all findings in Connections and ASARA, co-lead monthly meetings, and transport children to appointments. Collect weekly logs for case managers and coordinate inter-agency services with clinicians, teachers, and legal providers. Establish relationships with foster parents and case managers while participating in required supervision and training. Maintain a valid driver's license to travel frequently.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma
- experience in child welfare/child protective services
- demonstrated ability to reach out and work with community resources and foster parents
- Valid Driver's License
- ability to speak, read and write fluently in the English language
- ability to write in the English language using correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
- ability to use a computer and learn software programs
- ability to operate a fax, copier, scan, and other office equipment
- ability to lift 0-25 lbs. frequently
- ability to lift 25-50 lbs. occasionally
- ability to lift over 50 lbs. rarely
- ability to push/pull 0-25 lbs. of force frequently
