Homecare Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee services provided to individuals in their homes and communities, coordinating and supervising home care staff to ensure compassionate, compliant care that meets agency policies and industry standards. Responsibilities include coordinating staffing/scheduling, conducting in-home assessments and visits, developing and implementing branch plans and objectives, liaising with community resources, and providing leadership to employees. Requires knowledge of ADLs, personal care, home management, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s training/certifications), and strong communication and supervisory skills; must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance, and relevant experience or current supervisory training.

- Current driver’s license
- Proper Vehicle Insurance Coverage
- May require related experience
- Alzheimer's services supervisor training requirements or certification options (EssentiALZ, CDS, CDP, NCDAP, or equivalent dementia-care experience)
- Two years of experience in home health/home services/home nursing or supervisory/trainer role (within last five years) or current supervisory/trainer position with ongoing training for care tasks
- Ability to communicate clearly, monitor and assess employees, and work independently or with others
- Knowledge of standards of practice, personal care, home management, client care, and dementia care training requirements.
