Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing for patients in the Heber City home services setting. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Maintain effective communication with peers, stakeholders, and internal/external groups, and participate in mentoring students and new hires. Contribute to patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Intermountain Operating Model. Adhere to system regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours, while meeting established productivity standards and promoting continuing education for self and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
