Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing for patients in the Heber City home services setting. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Comply with system and regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours, maintaining effective communication with peers and stakeholders. Participate in mentoring students and new hires, attend interdisciplinary meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Intermountain Operating Model. This role supports Intermountain Health's mission by providing skilled clinical services that meet established productivity standards while promoting continuing education for self and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
